The is the second replacememnt tire out gas motorized inflator for my own 15 yr old large effecient caused air furnace. The primary lasted 10 years before bearing failure within the blower. The OEM replacememnt from a local furnace mechanic shop was getting noisey just after 5 years thus purchased a Fasco A170 through Amazon. The completely new one was nearly an exact replacement for that OEM unit (will no longer manufactured). It added perfectly and was quieter running as opposed to the 5 year or so old device.
This lasted one (1) four weeks. After the second month of operation, the unit started to sound rough when starting up and shutting down. It has become two (2) several months since instalation as well as hear the actual motor vibrate though the entire home and outside by the furnace wear out when turning down. My guess is it will secure totally due to defective generator bearings over the following week.
